  • Landscape Crew Leader - Installation Division

    Hittle Landscaping is looking for talented and experienced crew leaders. As one of Indiana’s largest landscaping companies we offer competitive wages, great benefits and the opportunity to move up in the company.



    • Supervise installation crew members, hardscape, planting, mulching etc.
    • Management of equipment and safety
    • Training and continuous improvement for team members



    • Valid Driver License- you will be responsible for a truck with a trailer
    • Experience in landscaping
    • Experience with equipment, skid steers, construction tools
    • Experience in supervision
    • Willingness to work overtime

    Salary: $14.21 – $18

  • Irrigation Service Technician

    Hittle Landscaping is seeking Irrigation Service Technician for the Indianapolis area. This position will include hands-on repairing and troubleshooting of irrigation systems. Irrigation Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness and efficiency of the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems for our commercial customers. Service Techs are responsible for managing the Safety, Quality, Time & Cost of their projects.

    We are seeking a motivated, hard-working leader with experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems. Potential applicants should have strong communication skills (English and Spanish a plus) and have the ability to operate various irrigation machinery and tools. A valid Driver’s License is required.

    Job Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Hands on Landscaping /Irrigation installation and Irrigation repair experience
    • Irrigation troubleshooting, repair and water management techniques
    • Horticulture knowledge
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to pass driver qualifications

  • Landscape Designer

    The Landscape Designer is responsible for generating residential landscape designs for homeowners and custom home/production builder partners. The Landscape Designer may also be required to design neighborhood entrances and common areas for land development partners.

    Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

    • Serve as liaison between Hittle and client

    • Prioritize design requests and meet tight deadlines

    • Create conceptual drawings and preliminary design studies for prospects, clients and builder partners

    • Present design and cost proposals to prospects and make revisions as needed

    • Generate final designs and construction documents for approval and production

    • Conduct Handoff meetings between design and production for sold jobs

    • Conduct site visits; pre-construction meetings and set-up meetings as needed

    • Generate cost proposals utilizing the Asset system and maintain an up-to-date project status report

    • Log client information and communications into Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

    Minimum Requirements

    • 3 years landscape design / sales experience

    • Proficient with AutoCAD, LandFX, DynaScape or similar

    • Exceptional communication skills

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • Strong understanding and proficiency with sales competencies

    • Willingness to learn

    Overview of Position

    The Profit Center Leader (PCL) oversees and directs operations of the division. The position has total profit-making responsibility for operations commensurate with sales revenue of the division. Works in conjunction with Business Development to generate revenue. Provides direction and leadership to ensure effective operations, complete customer satisfaction and long-term sustainable growth.

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Serves on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and works with other SLT members to establish overall objectives regarding sales, production, quality and profit.
    • Assists in development of the departmental Operating Plan.
    • Makes recommendations for equipment or other asset purchases based upon targeted goals and operational needs.
    • Assumes complete responsibility of the departmental P&L.
    • Provides leadership to all mangers within the department and ensures they have authority needed to carry out their assigned duties and achieve established goals.
    • Keeps abreast of competition, area growth trends, market studies and other circumstances of possible impact on operations.
    • Establishes and fosters long-term relationships with client executives, industry associations and prospective clients.
